“Stronger” was written around May 2020, during the onset of the murder of George Floyd soon after the pandemic began. The very important voices that came together in continuing the fight against injustice towards minorities, again reminding everyone how very little changes, and just how far we have to dig within ourselves to even begin to comprehend the root of a problem that has been engrained so long and so deeply that most are completely unaware of its continued impact. We each have a responsibility to acknowledge truth, to see things for what they are and to LISTEN. The systems in place have created bias' in all of us. These bias' stand in the way of making real progress, and reshaping a future that helps us unveil the truths that have been altered for the sake of vanity and pride. We all deserve equal opportunity, safety, resources, love and most importantly the reminder that we are all on this planet together. Your problem is OUR problem. Stand up to injustice, rejoice in the beauty of individuality, and respect our fellow human.
